Hertz debuts local edition in Porterville
Manager Ronnie Wrest did the ceremonial honors during a ribbon cutting at the Exeter Chamber of Commerce for Hertz Local Edition in Porterville. Wrest said instead of focusing on airports, Hertz is now opening rent-a-car locations in small towns called Hertz Local Editions to serve a variety of business and travel needs. Exeter Chamber holds Nov. 15 ribbon cutting
The Exeter Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. on Nov. 15 at Rob’s Cruisin Café, located at 271 Pine St. in Exeter.

Hispanic Chamber of Commerce holds Business Awards Gala
The Tulare-Kings Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will hold its 19th annual Installation of Officers and Business Awards Gala on Friday, Nov. 16 at the Visalia Holiday Inn, located at 9000 W. Airport Drive in Visalia.
A no host cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner and awards at 7 p.m. A dance will follow the awards. For more information, call the Chamber at 559-734-6020.
2013 National Small Business Week Award nominations are due Jan. 3, 2013
SBA is currently accepting nominations for several SBA awards including the 2013 Small Business of the Year Award. The Fresno SBA Office services the fifteen counties of Central California. Trade associations, chambers of commerce and business organizations frequently sponsor candidates. A business owner may also nominate themselves or other candidates.
