Noodle People Thai restaurant opens in Lindsay

Exeter Chamber reschedules, cancels upcoming ribbon cuttings this month and next

The Exeter Chamber of Commerce changed the dates of two ribbon cuttings that were scheduled for this month and next.

The Chamber had scheduled a ribbon cutting for Maid To Order for 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17 at the chamber office to celebrate its anniversary. The business, owned by Connie Roche, has rescheduled its ribbon cutting for 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 7 at the chamber office, 101 W. Pine St. in Exeter. The Chamber also canceled a ribbon cutting for next week. The ribbon cutting for AFLAC was originally scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 411 E. Pine St. Suite A in Exeter, but has been canceled. The Chamber has not yet set a new date for the ribbon cutting. For more information about AFLAC in Exeter, call Cory Perry at 951-206-0480. Tulare County Superior Court announces new Presiding Judge and Assistant Presiding Judge

The Tulare County Superior Court announced its new presiding and assistant presiding judges.

The Honorable Judge Lloyd L. Hicks was elected as Presiding Judge and Honorable Gary L. Paden as Assistant Presiding Judge by a majority vote of judges of the Court. Both will serve a two-year term which began on Jan. 1. As Presiding Judge, Hicks will supervise the judicial and administrative business of the court.
