Garden party raises funds to help Exeter paint the past

If you like the way Exeter’s murals not only beautify the town, but also attract tourism dollars to the local economy and pay homage to the town’s history, now is the time to give a little back to the non-profit that keeps them coming! Exeter, A Festival of Arts will hold its 12th annual Garden Party from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 at Mixter Park, in front of the Orange Harvest mural. Dinner, live & silent auction is the only fund-raiser of the year for the Exeter mural program. Exeter – “A Festival of Arts” promotes economic development through the arts and tourism by producing an outdoor art gallery reflecting Exeter’s history and culture. Table sponsorships are available as follows: The Harvesters, $1,000; The Wranglers, $750; or The Packers, $500. Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased from any member of the Mural Team or at the Exeter Chamber of Commerce. For more information, please call 592-2919
