Rookie Development league seeks players

The rookie development league is beginning their registration for the upcoming season.

The registration is open for boys and girls grades K – 2 for the rookie development league at McDermont field house. The cost to play in this league is $65 per child.

The league will run each Saturday starting Jan. 5. For the first hour each player will rotate through training stations and each child will learn the basic skills necessary to become an outstanding basketball player.

After training, each child will join their team for their scheduled game which will be played on 8 foot baskets.

It is important to learn the proper skills at a young age so players can improve on the skills they have learned.

Registration deadline is Saturday, Dec. 8. For more information please contact Jim at 559-772-9813 or Cassi at 559-239-7031. You can register your child by contacting McDermont Fieldhouse at 559-562-3326 or online at www.mcdermontfieldhouse.com.
